Light sources can disorient nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, leading them away from the water. They can also interrupt biological clocks and instincts to sleep and feed. ALED amber area lights minimize the risk of disruption to wildlife.
Field-adjustable wattage lets you keep lumen output at the bare minimum for what is needed.
ALEDs are full cutoffs* that minimize light pollution and keep light where it’s needed. For even more affective protection, the ALED shield accessory can also block light on the beachside.
*ALED models will only be full cutoff if used with the universal pole mount or wall mount
ALED amber emits long-wavelength light (614-624 nm) that is less distracting to wildlife. RAB uses true amber LEDs, unlike phosphor-converted LEDs which still produce blue wavelength light that can be confusing to sea turtles that rely on moonlight to guide them.
The RAB 10-year, no-compromise warranty covers light output, driver performance and paint finish. RAB's warranty is subject to all terms and conditions found at rablighting.com/warranty.
At 10 hours daily use, RAB LEDs are rated to last 27 years, dramatically reducing maintenance and relamping costs.
The ALED is available in 480 volt option. Available for M size only.
0-10V dimmable standard with every model.
